By day, I help students in higher education master the art of effective communication and storytelling. On nights and weekends, I write in multiple genres, including poetry, prose, screenwriting, and comics. My guiding principles focus on leaving the world a better place than I found it, so my efforts center on literary citizenship: volunteering my time and attention to helping other writers through writing, editing, scholarship, and social media presence.
